Hi, I’m Louise, your host…

“Busy” is the status quo in the 21st century.  Many of us live in a perpetual state of stimulation. At times it might feel as if we aren’t able to give ourselves permission to take our foot off the accelerator, unable or unwilling to put the brakes on and allow ourselves space and time to rest and recharge. 

 

This was my inspiration for my signature retreat

“Permission to Pause”

In 1966, BKS Iyengar prescribed 20-30minutes of savasana per day as an antidote to the stresses of life!

Indulge in 2 days of yoga, meditation and mindfulness. The choice is yours.  Unplug from your every-day reality.  Experience the magic of these 2 days and embrace the deeply nourishing ancient practices designed to bring you back to a place of balance and ease. Experience accessible yoga movement, Yin and myofascial release, Restorative yoga and Sound!

Leave with an embodied knowledge of how to include some mindfulness and self-care into your daily life.

Offerings for the weekend include:

  • 2 nights, all linen supplied  

  • Wholesome vegetarian meals

  • 8 optional yoga restorative &Yin/meditation/mindfulness practices

  • Daily mindful walk around the property and surrounds

  • Earth alter workshop: optional

  • Wander the gardens and find a quiet place to read or simply be still

  • Relax with a steam and spa and if you’re a Polar bear a swim in the pool!

  • Massages available

Participation in classes/activities is always optional
